"Know what mom?  I learned to play soccer!  I am not very good at it.  But guess what?  I learned something about playing soccer.  I learned that if you play soccer with the wrong ball, like a basket ball, then you get your toes hurt."

"Know what mom?  I learned that Dad's should not take out splinters.  Mom's tell you to close your eyes and think of nice things and it comes out with just a little hurt.  Dad's just grab it and yank and make a little BLOOD come out!"

"Know what mom?  I learned that my DS would be okay when I drop it because it has a case on it.  I am still gonna be careful though.  If I drop it too many times it the case could not work, maybe.  Or if I drop it down a cliff or something then it REALLY won't work.  So I have to still be careful."

"Know what mom?  My sock feels tight but not because it is too small.  It's because my wiggle toes don't want covers on.  So I am going to keep it on and stretch it out until they get used to it."

"Know what mom?  I know how they test car crashes!  I seen it on TV.  They make a car of only metal and they put a fake human in it, then they crash it.  There are lots of targets on the fake human to see how many spots he gets crashed on."
